Once you’ve set up your invoicing in Company Settings, creating and issuing an invoice is easy with Paymo. If you’ve been recording time, just click ‘Add from Timesheet’ button on the invoice template. This generates an invoice for your project based on all unbilled time during the time period you’ve set.
Three ways to create invoices in Paymo:
Manually – just type into the invoice fields
From an approved estimate – simply convert it to an invoice
Using timesheet data – a few clicks is all it takes
For recurring invoices, just click the ‘Recurring’ checkbox near the top of the invoice. Then simply enter a start date, frequency, and number of occurrences. You can even send recurring invoices automatically.
Estimates and expense tracking
Create estimates in Paymo and convert approved estimates into invoices, with a single click. Record expenses you incur for a project and easily add them to your invoices. It’s that simple.
Getting paid just got easier
If you use a payment gateway, you can create invoices in Paymo and let your clients pay you directly from the invoice. Simply go to Company Settings > Invoicing > Online Payment to set it up.
PayPal Payflow Pro
Once you’ve set this up, your clients will have the option to ‘Pay Online’. When an invoice is paid online it will automatically be marked as ‘paid’ in Paymo. It’s that easy.
